Press Release Summary: April has been a fast-paced month on Capitol Hill for online
poker players. One of the high-profile men leading the charge for online poker
players is Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL), who joins the PocketFives.com Podcast
this week.

Press Release Body: San Jose, Costa Rica - April 22, 2008 - The month of April has
been a roller coaster ride for online poker players in Washington, D.C., where bills
in Congress would undo the harm inflicted by the Unlawful Internet Gambling
Enforcement Act (UIGEA), which was passed back in 2006 by a Republican regime.
Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL) is at the forefront of the fight for online poker
players and has introduced HR 2610, the Skill Game Protection Act. The bill would
exempt poker, bridge, mah jong, and other games of skill from the UIGEA and Wire Act
of 1961, providing immediate relief for online poker players. Wexler joined the
PocketFives.com Podcast to explain his bill and analyze recent industry events.

Congressman Wexler stated, "Poker now is an American pastime. I believe more
Americans watch poker than watch professional basketball. Americans love poker. It
is played in the White House, in kitchen tables around the country, and in college
dormitories. What Congress did last session under Republican control was say that
poker couldn't be played on the Internet. My legislation would undo that absurd
prohibition. The Federal Government is spending its energy trying to prosecute
people for playing poker online. It's absurd." Wexler echoed his statements at a
House Financial Services Committee hearing on April 2nd entitled, "UIGEA: Burden
without Benefit?"

Out in Las Vegas, PocketFivesLive.com, which provides live coverage of online poker
players in the biggest live poker tournaments, will be at the World Poker Tour
Championship from the Bellagio. The cards hit the air on April 19th and the event's
final table takes place on April 26th. Tim "tmay420" West, Aaron Been, and Kevin
"BeL0WaB0Ve" Saul are all expected to be in attendance. Saul commented to
PocketFives.com on what winning the WPT Championship would mean to him: "To me,
winning the WPT championship would mean everything. It\'s the biggest buy-in on the
tour with the toughest field of players you'll find. I think it\'s pretty much the
equivalent to what the World Series of Poker Main Event was like to win before the
Chris Moneymaker boom and could quite possibly be the most prestigious tournament to
win on the WPT."

PocketFivesLive.com will also be on hand at the 2008 World Series of Poker, tracking
online poker players as they maneuver their way through the largest poker tournament
on the planet.
